Here's what I have on the El Dorado map:
My defender has tied up 2 enemy in the corner and is adjacent to both. my other unit has the tribute and sprinting around the fountain on the other side. My question is, according to the movement rules, the enemy is already closest to a unit but the weakest has the tribute. Since my tribute unit is the weakest, do they break off and chase it or stay with the closest? Chasing would be the most thematic.

Just saw your reply in the other thread and reminded me to check whether anyone had replied here.

It's always Closest first then Weakest - you then combine them if there is a tie (i.e. two equal distance you'd then choose the weakest and if still tied add the next decider if there is one).

Thanks so much Ibbo. I once played it that the
AI chased the weakest around even though
They were adjacent to another. Your answers
In other threads have been very helpful
To a newbie.
