Hi guys,

Not really a new user, but new-ish on the forums

Since polls can't be edited, what would you consider appropriate/practical for when a good discussion sparks new ideas and broadens possible options?

a) Add a second poll in a new reply
b) Remove original poll, insert new poll in OP (with EDIT comment)
c) add new poll in OP with only the new options
c) post new thread
d) something else?

(Was this a poll...? )

Thanks!

My favorite 18xx game for six players is two games of 1846 with three players each.

Don't remove the old poll; it makes people feel their opinions were wiped out. Just make a new one and explain why.

Ok, I'm sorry for the off-topic, but are you Eric Brosius formerly of Looking Glass Studios?

My vote is for a new post announcing the new poll then b). Edit: not b) but adding the new poll below the original in the OP with comments.

No; he's about 10 years younger than I am (though he does live near me.)
