Richard mentioned at some point his plan for there to be four games in the series- one for each suit. But we're 6+ years removed from Maria and he's designed other games since so who knows if/when it will happen. It would be a wonderful thing!

My vote would be for the Great Northern War, playable down to 2 players Sweden vs Russian. My second vote would be the War for Spanish Succession, which occurred at the same time.

I would be very interested in a game about that mess that was the unification of Italy: in particular the translation into the simple mechanics of Maria/Friedrich (simple compared to those encyclopedic tomes of Here I Stand and Virgin Queen )
