Amazon link.

BGG link.

I'm not going to list other OLGS prices since this is a Mayfair title and usually not more than 10% off MSRP ($60).

EDIT: Dropped to $48.99 (was $49.99 when I started the thread) as I was checking out. Will it drop more....??

EDIT: Save another $.02. Dropped to $48.97

EDIT: Another $.02 off.

EDIT: I'm keeping the price in the subject line as accurate as possible as it changes. They're small ($.01) increments for the most part.

Looks like Amazon is probably matching 3rd party seller GamesComicsWC. You might also want to try purchasing from GameComicsWC if it allows you to avoid sales tax.

Unless you're in CA, which is where GameComicsWC looks to be located

Oh man. Me too. Most of my gaming is with four. I've played this with four. I *know* it's slow with four. My normal game group is -especially- slow. And yet... I so do enjoy this game.

I would, but I just purchased this.

And my other recent purchases have barely been played.

Oops.

Someone posted a variant to help with downtime.

Just saying.

I would imaging CSI, MM or cardhaus will have this as a daily deal soon enough for probably $35-40

Possible, but unlikely given that it's published by Mayfair.

Not this past thanksgiving but the year before that.

Mayfair price restrictions only apply to regular prices not limited time sale prices. Their items definitely show up in sales. While I don't recall Caverna being that cheap at CSI, I do recall Patchwork being $17.00 on Black Friday at Cardhaus last year.

It might have been $65. So does this mean online stores can discount Mayfair games for sales?

Yes, Caverna was $65 on Black Friday for both 2014 and 2015. But you didn't make that number up, someone in the 2015 thread said that it had been $35 in 2014 (and was quickly corrected). I suspect they were thinking of it as $35 off.
In any event, it does seem that when Mayfair items are on sale they are usually only 1/3 off, which means if Grand Austria Hotel does go on sale it will probably be at $40 as you predicted.

It's being sold by another company NOT located in CA for about the same low price as the others, but only 10 left in stock - so for all you Californians that were hoping to snag this for the tax-free price of about $49, now is your chance!
