Episode 224 of The Spiel is now available.

Get Together. Get the Loot. Get Out.

Burgle Brothers is a cooperative heist game that is clearly inspired by the wonderful cinematic tradition of films like Ocean’s 11, The Italian Job, Topkapi, The Great Train Robbery, Inception, and one of my new favorites: Tower Heist.

You have a crew of specialists ready to help you infiltrate a bank or an office or even Fort Knox. The goal? Find the safe on each floor of the building, crack it, grab the loot and escape to the roof where a helicopter awaits to whisk you away to safety.

This game emphasizes teamwork and builds in many fun heist movie moments filled with suspense... when your careful plan hangs in the balance and moments of panic... when everything falls apart and you have to come up with a new plan on the fly.

Tune in to find out why Burgle Bros deserves the Spiel of Approval award!

You can listen or download the show using the link above or you can find The Spiel on iTunes and most podcast directories.

Burgle Bros was designed by Tim Fowers and published by Fowers Games.

One additional item of note that, I hope, will be of interest!

Ted Alspach and Bezier Games are sponsoring all our programming on The Spiel in 2016.

Ted isn't officially announcing Colony, his big Essen release, until next week, BUT....

you can learn about and pre-order Colony a full week before Ted officially announces the game just by listening to this episode and using the preorder link on our web sites!

Colony is an interactive dice-as-resources engine building game set in a post nano-pocalypse world.

You can learn a little about the game by listening to the ad at the top of the show AND....

you can pre-order the game by going to either http://www.thespiel.net or http://www.majorfun.com right now! You'll see links to Colony at the top of each page.

Ted is giving us this exclusive link until his official announcement on March 7.

If you're interested in the game AND you like what we do here on The Spiel, this would be a fantastic way to help us and help Ted, too.
