the timequakes reminded me of a 1989 movie Millennium that used that term.

In director Geoff Murphy's 1985 cult sci-fi feature; a global energy project has malfunctioned and scientist Zac Hobson (Bruno Lawrence) awakes to find himself the only living being left on earth. i.e.timequake

The Quiet Earth

I saw this film during its US theatrical release. I enjoyed it then but the trailer looks dated now. Still worthy to see though. Anyone else see this film?
