Just got done playing a game tonight on ios and this message popped up on the app and it shuts down.
Is anyone else getting this message?
I never had a test version of the app. I purchased the app after seing the ios news post on the geek about the app.

Happened to my wife and I aswell. We both just got ourselves in the top 25, we rather not lose it because of this. I noticed it happened with me right after I updated it. Probably a bad idea.

My iPhone version was still running (no update) and I played several games just now. So servers seem to work for games.

Here's a workaround: Press the triangle thingie at the top and it will log you in and you can make your moves.

Me too, and a friend who I play against. I would assume this is everyone...
It would appear that the developers have forgotten to remove code only intended for the pre release version.
This makes me chuckle for 2 reasons.
One, because it is quite amateurish to make this big a cock up in the first place.
Two, because their failsafe to stop people carrying on with the demo version is so easily defeated.

The game play in the app is great, but the user experience leaves a lot to be desired.
For instance, I constantly get network error messages, when I know I have a network connection.
For instance, why do I have to click on 3 different things to get to my list of online games. (1 the button on the right, one of the get online games button, one on the login button).
Sort it out devs!

It's pretty much exactly the same as their Le Havre Inland Port app. The interface is almost identical - quite tedious to get in and find your games. Remarkable just how slick Ascension and Carcassonne still look.

They got back with me after I emailed them. Pretty quick response if you ask me.

"Hi Michael,

we are deeply sorry. It is happening due to an antipiracy protection gone rogue. We fixed it just now and it is being uploaded to the stores as we speak. Sorry for the trouble. And thank you for your patience!

Quick fix: Until the update is out, you can press on one of the symbols (envelope or running games) on the top to circumvent the popup."

I've had that happen with a different app before. Try deleting it and reinstalling. It might not hurt to reboot the device between those steps, too.
