I have a rules translation for any of the German-speaking Geeks out there (Michael Wißner, I'm looking at you!)
In the "Passing" section, I understand how the normal passing works, but I am confused about the "Passing with a Special Action" rules. My translation of this section roughly works out to:
"As described above, you will always play (discard) an Action Card in order to pass. However, you may also play an Action Card in order to use its 'Passing' Special Action.
When doing this, you will not place your Family Member at the end of the Passing Track, but instead, on the first empty space of the track. This is the space showing 3 Pink Goods Cubes. If that space is already occupied by another player, place your Family Member on the space showing 2 Pink Goods Cubes, etc.
By performing the 'Passing' Special Action, you place your Family Member at the front of the Passing Track."
How does it benefit the player to use a Special Action on the Action Card in order to pass, rather than the normal method of passing? When passing with a Special Action do you disregard the Pink Goods Cubes cost on the space? If this is not the case, and you still have to pay Pink Goods, I really don't see the benefit of passing this way. Am I missing something else here?
Any help would be appreciated, as I am nearing the end of my English translation of the rules.
