Another preview time!
In this update we can find a sweet taste of which Events we could have to face during our adventures!

Events are all those unexpected or unfortunate circumstances which might affect the Accursed negatively. There are a total of 40 Events within the base game but we will only show you 15 here because we do not want to spoil the fun of encountering something for the first time.
Events are drawn when the Group leader rolls between 4-6 once the Darkness Marker lands on a Dread Space. The Darkness Marker moves on the wheel by 1 every time a new map tile is explored or when the Darkness Roll is of 1.
Events are placed face down in the newly explored room (if this event was caused by the reveal of a new room) or face down by the room of 1 Accursed selected at random (if this event was the result of the Darkness Roll).
Events are dealt with during the Event Phase when they are triggered by the presence of at least 1 Accursed currently present within the map tile with the Event.
Now let's start reading what the Events have to offer!
Is there a possibility to add some level-dependency to those events?
E.g.causing 2d6 damage in the beginning of an accursed's career might often turn out deadly whereas in the later levels it might only be a minor nuisance / irritating interruption...
Maybe adding the character's level to the damage roll: 1d6+level, level*1d3, 1d6+twice level (=evil one!!! ) and any other thinkable versions of that?
Anything which keeps one shaking in his boots (even at high level) when facing an event! ^^
