My friend fury and I just played the short game (Nov 20-26) again last night for the first time in a while. On the "last" turn, both of us decided to take ALL of our ammunition because, hey, may as well. It's not like there's going to be another day, right? I think he had all of his ammo, and I had nearly all of mine.

This felt sorta cheesy, so here's a variant to address it:

If you're playing a "short" scenario (i.e. one that doesn't end on Dec. 3), then on the last turn of the scenario, after rolling for ammunition points (including a DR for using the advantage marker), you may take a maximum of half, rounded up, of your available ammunition.

This should still give you a decent number of ammunition markers, especially if you've been saving up, without the "end of the world" effect we saw.
