Begrudged "GRATZ!", while can't they locate ONE person from ALL of the rest of the "world" in which to have an additional 'Admin' ON DUTY here at every hour of the day then? Since WE have no means in which to determine just which 'one' for ANY of such are then RIGHT when you "need" one, it sure would be 'nice' and "friendlier" were there to BE this "alert" methodology as well eh? oh wait, there seems to be a 'glitch' in the "Geek Mail" sending as it were, so it wouldn't matter anyways, now would it?
surprise

Congratulations Tom! You're the best kind of admin - the kind that was already doing a LOT to serve the community before you got "officially" recognized. Keep doing what you're doing.

Happy tagging!

Be on your guard. There are older and fouler things than Orcs in the deep places of the world.

Wow, Tom! Congratulations! They couldn't have picked a nicer or better-suited guy!

I know Tom personally and he is an outstanding individual. He belongs to my gaming group, and he is always extremely helpful and kind to everyone. One thing he does a lot is buy new games, read the rules, and then teach the game to people. He is always teaching people games and he is a brilliant teacher.

Besides belonging to my gaming group, Tom used to run the gaming group at Columbia University. He is currently attending Columbia Law School.

Congratulations, Tom! How fortunate we all are to have you in the leadership of BGG.

Thank you so much for all the nice things you said David! It really made my day to see your post

I actually enjoy teaching games to people, so it's my pleasure.

I'm hoping to get back to the club again soon, probably the next meeting on April 6th, which I see you haven't RSVP'ed for, which I found surprising since you're often one of the first people to RSVP. Anyway, for once I may have a chance to be taught a game rather than teach one because Kevin is planning to bring Imperial and Liberte, neither of which I know, but am interested in trying both. Should be an interesting change of pace. Don't forget you're always welcome to come check out the Columbia gaming group, I think at this point it's as much or more non-Columbians than Columbians.

Anyway, thanks again David! meeple
