I loaned my copy of pitchcar to a friend, and it came back
with only 3 of the eight cars.

Anyone have an idea if parts can be replaced?

I emailed the manufacturer, but haven't heard back yet, and wanted to get the geeks thoughts.

I think you will never hear from them. After many e-mails to Ferti, I have to assume that all incoming e-mail is sent right to the trash. I have a new Pitchcar I opened years ago. It was missing all the long rails. I sent a few e-mail, I even offered to buy them from them. Never once did I get a response. When I posted here on BGG, I received replies from others, like you are from me, saying that the chances of them responding are slim. Maybe you will be the exception. If you do get through, ask if I can buy long rails!

Maybe the news of a distributor for the United States is good news, then... Surely, they would have to be more responsive than Ferti!

I am missing a car too. I got the following reply within a day from Ferti.
Quote:
For the USA, you can buy our products contacting our distributor BrownBox :
info@brownboxinc.com
or
rosaelia@brownboxink.com

Best regards,

Of course I didn't hear back from either of those emails. But I'm still hoping.

What about Crokinole disks? They should be pretty fast. And usually crokinole suppliers are pretty responsive. Heard good stories of Hilinski.

Ok...doing some investigating.

Brownboxink....is currently the North American distributor for Ferti.

They are located near Lubbock Texas.
They have just received their first order of parts from Ferti.

They can't sell me the parts, because they can only sell to retail stores.
I have several calls going on about this.
Maybe even trying to set up some retail store to order parts...maybe an online store even....we'll see. I'll post any results if I can...

RESOLUTION ish

Well, ferti directed me to this company brownboxinc..

They are currently the national distributor in America.

They however only are wholesalers.

SO, any part you need replaced....go to any RETAILER
that sells pitchcar and have the retailer call the number on this link
http://brownboxinc.com/contact_us.php?osCsid=92773a18cdb1c80...

The number is...

806-637-2010

They will supply your retail store with the parts.

Good Luck!

Barry....
