Please help...

1. Why am I moving dresses from top ballroom to terrace where I funded fireworks...and how does that get scored?

2. Down by the statues, there is an end of game scoring box with a crown and 4 dresses. It shows each color dress with a 1x then 2 Prestige points. Cannot figure this out.

Thanks a bunch...

Loved the game!!

End game scoring is done best if you open the rulebook and just follow along with the explanations at the back of it.

I have played this game several times and still find that's the easiest way to get through the end game scoring.

That said, to answer your questions, it's on page 7 part C) that you move them, then in part E) when you score your property markers, you apply the multiplier to the dress or coat in the spot on the Terrace (as described in part E).

Your second question is covered in Part D) on page 7. You count up how many differently colored dresses and coats you have in a set and you get 2 points for each in that set. If you have claimed two statues you would need to count different dresses and coats for that set, than the ones you counted for the first set.

Use the bottom of page 6 and all of page 7 when doing end game scoring, it makes it very easy to get through it.

1. A funded fireworks position is a multiplier on a single dress you have in the top ballroom. Think of it as being able to choose the right fireworks and the right place to make your handiwork look most appealing. Apply the multiplier on the position to the dress you moved to that position. So if you had a 3-point green dress in the top ballroom, and bought one of the 3x fireworks places on the terrace, you might move the former to the latter and score 9 (3x3) points during the scoring phase where you score for disks on the board (i.e. the last one).

2. Each statue you own is worth up to 8 points for a complete set of dress colors. In other words a statue and one dress of every color is worth 8 points (2 x 4 dress colors) plus whatever the statue itself is worth (1 or 2). A statue and two dresses of every color is still worth 8 plus the statues, since your set completion bonus is capped at the number of statues you have. Two statues and six dresses are worth a variable number of points -- for RRBBGY it's 12 points + statues, for RRRBBB it's 8 points + statues.

Another equivalent way to think of it is that for each color, N dresses of that color are worth 2 extra points each, where N is the number of statues you have.
