I've condensed the rules in the 1988 rules book down to one side of A4 (and a bit of pushing at the margins).

It's here in its first release in to the wild:

I've never played this game so I think my rewording, and reviewing brings a certain clarity to the rules because of that, but I may also have made mistakes in my interpretation.

I'd be grateful if anyone could review and point out problems or lack of clarity.

Disclaimer, I've been toying with the idea of releasing a kindle version of the rules FOR MONEY!!!! So while there'll always be a free version here, you might prefer to not help me. If I do it, it will be in part to encourage me to to further condensings of rules books in future. Not that I ever will, but as the Laffer Curve demonstrates, hard cash increases motivation. And I don't have work at the moment (anyone looking for a spreadsheet guy, and I do VB?).

I forgot to mention that there's actually a few notes with ####CLARIFY### in the rules where I am unsure of myself.

Advice on those would be great.

I'm not sure how big the market is for people paying for condensed civ rules really is. It's a pretty niche game as is.
