At the end of the rules (section Game end) the rules say
"In addition to regular victory points (for triples, bo-
nuses, victory point cards, and sold goods) each
player also receives victory points for animals"

Unfortunately I could not find how the points are awarded for
selling goods. Could anyone help? Thanks a lot.

It's on the part of the rules that explains the Sell Goods action...

Basically you use a die that has the same number of the Goods you have and you can sell all goods of that type (number) for each good you sell you get 1 silver and 1 point (the cards with the barrels) that you keep next to the other scored points

I don't think you get a card with a barrel. You put the sold goods cards in your tableau (which shows a victory point).
