I know zero about computers, which is why I still send SASE's to companies when I have a question about rules that I can get answered on these forums. It app[ears some R&R players reference others to www.grognard.com, and I did go to that one of three sites I can find: it, BGG and Facebook. But when I tried to download? the rule errata and variants, it either came up "Word file" (rule errata) or "RTF" (for variants, both of which send my computer into a conniption. It just sits there with a box that says "Close program?" (as if I have a choice), but if I don't close it and try to sneak in a print, the screen fades to white and a blue circle is all I can detect. So I punt. Can't anyone put the errata and variants in a format my dumbass computer can read? It seems to like the pretty pictures--I think that's pdf.

I have uploaded the two files for you as pdfs. I do not know when they will be available here. I hope your computer can handle them. If not, let me know and I will load them as text files.

PDF files (acrobat) are generally universal (so are RTFs, though).

May I ask what make/model of computer you have, and what the operating system is?

Lewis, I wish I were computer knowledgeable enough to know what an operating system is. The computer is an HP my brother gave me many years ago when he upgraded.

Does it have a "Start" button on the lower left corner of the screen or a small icon that looks like an apple in the upper left corner?

If it's an HP, would there be an apple?

No, sorry, good point. I was typing while distracted.
