I don't want to hear what you play at game groups or even game parties with friends. I just want to hear what are your go to games (games you spend the highest % of your gaming time on) at home with your spouse or families, or in other words without making such a deliberate effort to make time for gaming. For my wife and I Pandemic is that game (80% of our gaming). I know the general list of games i would hear about if I were asking for a recommendation for couples or family games, but i just want to hear what works for you as a good go to game or games.

Thank you

The game that the three of us (my wife, my stepson who is 16, and I) have played most often over the past 2 years is Pathfinder: Adventure Card Game.

When my wife and I play, there's no single go-to game. Dominion is the game we have played two-player most often over the past year.

These are the games my husband and I usually play together when we're just hanging out at home, not out at a game group or having friends over to play.

War of the Ring
Arkham Horror
Innovation
Food Chain Magnate (lately)
Star Trek: Fleet Captains
100 Swords
Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Detective (in the car)
D&D Boardgame: Castle Ravenloft

Most played games for my wife and I together are:
Star Realms
Legendary: A Marvel Deck Building Game
Ascension: Realms Unraveled
They see the most play.
My wife also like when we play
Dungeon Petz, she likes this game so much that she forgets it's complex.
More broadly these have been hits with my family and niece:
Galaxy Trucker
Sheriff of Nottingham

My family (two 8yo boys and a 12yo girl) really enjoy bluffing games like Coup, and The Sheriff of Nottingham. They also really enjoy Marvel Dice Masters.
When it is just me and my wife, we play Dominion, and Carcassone

My wife and I really enjoy playing...

Cribbage
Zombie Dice
Pandemic: The Cure
Roll For It! Deluxe Edition

They may be simple, but after work sometimes quick and dirty does it.

Take care,
Douglas Fost

Most of what my wife and play have been mentioned already, but the game I play with 5 year old is Outfoxed!.

This is one fun game, and it teaches them deductive reasoning, choice making, some memory.

Wife and two daughters (12 & 17) are my only gaming companions. Rarely do we have all four at the table at the same time so 2-player games get a good look-in as well

Family favourites include:
Dominion
Suburbia
Castles of Burgundy
Bohnanza
Linko
Lords of Waterdeep
Love Letter
Jaipur
Jamaica
Le Fantome de l'Opera
Small World

CoB and Suburbia are as 'thinky' as they like to get, otherwise it needs to be relatively quick. The youngest daughter is the most experimental for new games, but they generally like to stick to a small set they know very well.

My main gamer crew is my other half and 2 boys (age 5 and 6). Most of the games we play as a family, we enjoy as a couple...

Pandemic (plus all the expansions)
Takenoko
King of Tokyo
Skyline 3000
Carcassonne (plus expansions 1&2)

As a couple, we also really enjoy:
Agricola
7 Wonders Duel
Five Tribes
Mythotopia
Plus what ever game (or 3) I'm currently working on and trying to force down her throat until she's sick to death of it

There's more... But I'm sure that's enough!

Thank you everyone for sharing your go to games. It was nice to see all the different games everyone plays, and to see many new ones to me. I sometimes feel like perhaps a very obscure game could work as well as any other for being a go to game for my wife and I. I need to trade some of my rarely played time vampires for some quicker (under an hour)
games.

We play as a team against the game, per the included 2P co-op rules. It's fun and brisk for a post-dinner weeknight game.
