Almost every week, Statalyzer and I play board games with at least 1 other person. We play war/strategy games mostly, but when it's just 3 of us, we've started playing FoD fairly often. This is the second quickest game of FoD I've ever seen, not because of anything Dracula did wrong (other than in hind-sight), but because the hunters got extremely lucky with card draws and discovering where Dracula was on the third movement of the game.

Starting locations:
Lord Godalming: Sofia (Eastern Europe)
Dr. Seward: Santander (Spanish peninsula)
van Helsing: Galway (Ireland)
Mina Harker: Milan
Dracula: Liepzig (Northern Germany)

DAY 1:
Dawn:
LG- walk to Varna
DS- walk to Lisbon
VH- Atlantic Ocean
MH- walk to Munich
Dracula- Berlin
Allies drawn: Quincy P. Morris for Dracula

Noon:
LG- walk to Constanta
DS- walk to Madrid
VH- North Sea
MH- train to Liepzig (trail discovered)
Dracula- Prague
Allies drawn: Sister Agatha for Hunters

Dusk:
LG- walk to Bucharest
DS- train to Bourdeaux
VH- land in Amsterdam
MH- Berlin (encounters desecrated soil)
Dracula- wolf form through MH to Hamburg

Twilight:
LG- train to Budapest (cancelled by Dracula)
DS- train to Paris
VH- walk to Cologne
Dracula- Hide

Midnight:
LG- train to Budapest
DS- plays Stormy Seas on North Sea and walks to Brussels
VH- walks to Hamburg (encounters new vampire. Kills vampire and loses 3 health)
MH- drops Heavenly Host and rests in Liepzig
Dracula- Feed in Hamburg (encounters VH, who escapes without losing any health)

Small Hours:
LG- train to Prague (encounters minion with knife/pistol. Loses 3 health and escapes)
DS- walks to Cologne
VH- walks to Liepzig to be protected by the Heavenly Host
MH- stays in Liepzig
Dracula- Dark Call in Hamburg

Day 2
LG- train to Hamburg (Dracula plays Customs Search, and he loses a Stake, Crucifix, and Garlic. Encounters Dracula, loses 2 health, escapes)
DS- drops Heavenly host in Cologne and walks to Hamburg (encounters Dracula with Knife and Stake. Loses 4 health, but rolls 3 non-consecutive Stake kills on Dracula for the win)

Interesting. My experience in starting the hunters so spread out is that it invites an attack from Dracula at the start.

It did. I attacked Mina once and Van Helsing twice, the second time after he'd been bitten plus he only had one item. They managed to win escape rolls pretty quickly all 3 times.

In most of the games I play (all face-to-face), the hunters almost always start off that spread out. I think the once or twice I've seen Dracula try to take advantage of spread-out hunters by starting near Mina, he has been found before the first night time. In theory, he could do that, but luck seems to be against Dracula being able to jump on Mina in the first night.
