After the base set what 'addition' is the most 'requisite?'

the NPC pack for the vault weapons?
Wolfsburg?
hero pack 1?

Not wanting to add to much, but wanting to flesh out the base game a bit.

IMO: Wolfsburg, one NPC pack, Deadeye Walkers, eventually the second NPC pack (for more Vault weapons).

If you don't get enough out of the 10 heroes from Base + Wolfsburg, prioritize Heroes Box 1, but there's no reason to get that before Wolfsburg, since that's 5 heroes vs 4 heroes + tiles, wolves, new equipment.

I'm not sure, but I would say Wulfsburg. Because it adds new enemy mechanic, tiles, heroes, dashboards to play with 6 people, and more powerful equipment cards.

Abomination pack first. But since that was not on the list I would go with Wulsfburg with out a doubt. Makes the game more intense.

If I were going to just own the core game and one expansion, the expansion would be Wolfsburg. I like and own many others, but in the end Wolfsburg offers quite a bit to the game.

Yep, Wulfsburg, without question, for all the reasons mentioned above.

As a further add-on, I'd recommend the Deadeye Walkers.
Ranged Opponents will greatly influence the way you play the game in the future.
They're by far our groups' favourite amongst the new releases.

Aside from adding the new vault weapons the NPC boxes make the game easier. The hero pack only matters if you want more dash boards or the sculpts matter a lot to you since the hero cards are downloadable. Wulfsburg adds the extra tiles and missions, but I think the archers are more interesting than the wolves.

Wulfsburg adds four dashboards, which allows you to play with up to 10 players. You probably knew this but I wanted to clarify for those who don't know.
