BjornadoNalysis™: Monkey Auto Races
Others here have covered the gameplay pretty well, so I'll cut straight to some deeper insight into this important game that has been until very recently so unjustly overlooked.
A little historical background most people here don't seem to be aware of: Monkey Auto Races is actually a whimsical, industrial-age retheming of the legendary Old Norse abstract minnihorngeirr (literally: "small-head-spear").
Not only is this modernized version great light-hearted fun (and decidedly less fatal than its forebearer), but it is also a profound metaphor for the environmental, economic, social and geopolitical ramifications of the first world's precarious reliance on automobiles and unrenewable energy resources: the blissfully ignorant, alienated monkeys we've made of ourselves in the process of pushing our cars around in a race for material stupor and technological progress for its own sake, with our selfish, shortsighted monkey-heads down to the destructive long-term consequences.
REMCO (Heidi Elevator Game, The Magic! Magic! Magic! Game, Melvin the Moon Man) really outdid themselves with this one. Truly a game for the ages and this present age in particular. Bravo.
BjornadoClusion™: Monkey Auto Races: silly, yes. Stupid? Far from it. A game for our times.

Wait, what?! What was the middle part? I just like pushing the cars around.
