I'm moving overseas in a few weeks and have a little bit more space to ship a small game or two. I want it to be a new game, or at least a game that is new to me. Something to look forward to playing after we arrive. Help me find a game please. Make some suggestions. Here is my criteria:

-Game(s) cannot take up more space than 120 sq. in.
-Must be available to purchase online and delivered (to MN) within 7-10days and costs less than $50
-I'm a member of the cult of the new, so the newer the better
-# of players doesn't matter, but would like something with a bit of complexity

Thanks ahead of time for the suggestions!

Guns & Steel
Mottainai
GEM (whoops, no, apparently out of print)

The first two together should be under $50 and 120 sq.in. even after you count shipping costs.

Sorry I couldn't come up with anything from 2016...

I see you have played San Juan. MiniatureMarket.com has San Juan (second edition) in stock. It has the expansion buildings included and those extra buildings do indeed add some nice depth to the game.

Arboretum makes my brain hurt. There are a few copies in Amazon right now that are less than $50.

The Grizzled with The Grizzled: At Your Orders! expansion.

The Networks - not sure it can meet your shipping requirement though

The Voyages of Marco Polo
The Guilds of London
Isle of Skye

Sorry for the lack of links, my phone decided it was not going to allow me to insert the direct links after the 3rd linked game.

I second San Juan (second edition). Great small game.

Another small favorite of mine is Valley of the Kings: Afterlife. A great deckbuilder game with a twist (entombing, removing your card from your deck to score them). A tiny game that pack a lot.

Epic Card Game is very small and a great alternative to Magic.
Uruk II: Die Entwicklung geht weiter is a full fledged Euro in a little box.

Big +1 for Pax Pamir, Greenland, and Neanderthal. You'll be hard pressed to find heavier (complexity) games with a smaller footprint. +1 for Pax Porfiriana Collector's Edition also--it's larger than the others but still nice and compact. Pax Pamir is the newest of those titles.

If you really do want Arboretum, it's out of print and a bit pricey. I will sell you my sleeved copy for $20. But, you really should consider San Juan 2nd ed first as it is a vastly superior game.

Thanks for the offer! But, I found a copy of Greenland on the marketplace and am going to go with that.

It was a tough choice. Lots of good games suggested. Went with Greenland because I've wanted to play a Phil Eklund game for some time and I thought the theme would also go over better with my family than Pax Pamir
