* Completely forgot to mention that I started doing Game Reviews as well, they might be about games on Kickstarter right now, but also about games I just recently played and felt like writing about. The first episode about ‘Dysfunctional Families’ of which the creator Eric was on an interview episode recently has been put online and can be found here on soundcloud, but a written version is also available on Wordpress (where you can read and listen to it at the same time) or on BoardGameGeek. A new episode is in the making and any feedback is greatly appreciated!
Miniatures Related Projects
MODz for Wasteman
First, The MODz for Wasteman are doing pretty well! The ‘modular’ miniatures so to speak look really gross, and that’s a good thing since they’re mutants. There are a lot more available now than there were at the beginning of the campaign so check them out! 15 GBP for the pair of smaller ones and 23 for the big monsters!
A successful board game comes with Exoplanets. Doubling its funding target, exoplanets gives you control over the evolution of planets. Become the cosmic architect and create life on the anets in the solar system. The base game is 35 USD and the game can be expanded from there!
Organ Attack [No BGG Link at Time of Release]
Speaking of successes, the card game called organ attack is doing ridiculously well! With over 400K raised, the game based on the popular webcomic about the complicated relations that happen inside your body will make sure you can keep your game night alive! 20 USD will get you this hugely popular game.
Oligarchy: A Dystopian card game
Oligarchy, a game that fell in between the cracks when I skipped a few episodes of the first roll, is a Collectible Trading Card Game about using every tool at your disposal to crush your opponents and become the mighty ruler of the planet all by yourself! A Good game about all the Not Good in this world. 20 GBP for the base set and boosters (as well as complete boxes) can be added onto your pledge.
The Bible TCG [No BGG Link at Time of Release]
Another Trading Card game comes with the Bible TCG. The creator is not looking to get rich but to get the word of God into as many kid’s hands as possible. Not quite sure what makes this a Trading Card Game, but anyways, it’ll cost you 25 USD. for 24 you can also give away a copy to a local church kid!
Glory Eternia [No BGG Link at Time of Release]
Next, Glory Eternia is a fast-paced battle card game where you strive to be the first one to defeat 100 enemies. The game looks absolutely stunning with highly detailed chibis on nearly every card! This cute but merciless game will cost you 10 GBP.
Legendary Showdown - Gamer’s Quest [No BGG Link at Time of Release]
Legendary Showdown - Gamer’s Quest is the third part of the Legendary Showdown series and this features the superb Ctrl-Alt-Del webcomic as the theme of the game. If you’re not familiar with Ctrl-Alt-Del you should check it out and then back this game! It’s 25 USD for the standard version, 34 for a special art edition and combine it with the two earlier Legendary Showdown games for 79.
Sad Kickstarter Story:
WHaaa! I completely forgot about the sad Kickstarter Story this time…
Ah well. Be Happy! Not Sad!
RPG of the Week - Ninja High School RPG [No BGG Link at Time of Release]
Role Playing Game of the Week, I should really change that name into something else soon, but not quite sure into what, there’s 3 RPG’s of the week each week, which is odd. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. Anyway, RPG of the week is Ninja High School RPG, the franchise that is celebrating its 30th birthday is back after launching a card game a couple of months ago and this time it comes as a Role Playing Game. It puts you in the seat of the Quagmire High School series and the adventures that take place there! It comes in the D6 format, but stretchgoals also unlocked Savage Worlds and FATE engine versions of the game. The game will cost you 15 USD for PDF, 20 for softcover version and there are some limited hardcover versions left for 30. RPG of the Week Ninja High School RPG.
Role Playing Games
Dynastic Races Compendium [No BGG Link at Time of Release]
Another Role Playing Game, or actually I should say Supplement comes in the Dynastic Races Compendium for Pathfinder. A big book of world flavour and four (and probably more) races to be used in any dynastic setting! Think Kitsune and the likes. As a Notorious non RPG player myself, I just like the pretty pictures, but there’s a lot to gain from this book. It’s 10 USD for the PDF or 30 for Print on Demand.
Expansions, Reprints, Relaunches and Upgrades
CSW - Armoured Warfare [No BGG Link at Time of Release]
The CSW - Armoured Warfare campaign for CSW: Invasion has made it so the miniatures of this first series can be casted! After the first campaign being a bit too big (introducing the Whole game at once) this one apparently was just right and found the funding! These 15mm scaled warmachines look very good in my opinion and I’m glad these guys make it this time. Combination pledges so check it out for yourself!
Psychiatrist the Game (Relaunch)
The relaunch of the Party game Psychiatrist has funded! The creators of the page teamed up with the original creators of the game and this time it worked out for all parties! Guess what’s wrong with your patient in this interesting take on charades. This trip to the shrink will cost you 25 USD (which as you know if you ever went to a shrink, isn’t bad)
Fallen Angel (Relaunch):
And Finally, the Fallen Angel boardgame Relaunch is successful as well, which pleases me greatly because I sort of fell in love with the aesthetic part of the game. I think it looks really great! Save the earth from an asteroid called Angel City (which was once the Home of the Gods) in this eurostyle game! Fallen Angel will cost you 49 AUD or you can add an elemental dice tower for 53 in total.
