$40 plus tax. It's for a pack of 3d lenticular cards but each box includes a set of playable cards for Legendary - one hero (either Man-thing or Howard the Duck) and one henchman group, and some other stuff.

The eBay prices for these singles is actually pretty high so if you are a Legendary completionist this is a good deal.

Bought two boxes, is that enough to get the set?

Not necessarily. The way the assortment is, each box is guaranteed to complete whatever you have. There are two different sets of henchmen (Spider-slayers and Circus of Crime), and two different heroes (Man-Thing and Howard the Deck). There are also four random bystanders, and one Stan Lee bystander.

If you buy a box, you will get a full set of one of the henchman, a full set of the cards for one hero, one random bystander and one Stan lee bystander.

So, in theory, two boxes could net you all but two of the bystanders. But it's possible you'll get two Man-Things, or two Circus of Crimes, etc. Although I would imagine you could probably find a way to straight-up trade a hero set for the other hero set, if you completed it.

The guarantee is that the set you get is complete. Just no guarantees that two boxes gets you each one.

Weren't they supposed to be reprinting Man Thing and Howard in the future?

I don't know, honestly.

I personally am not buying this, but posted it up for those who might be interested. I don't know if and when anything may be republished, and I have no connection to the website selling them.

Yes, but Brenzor seemed a little on edge about that whole discussion, so I think it may have been something he wanted to push through, but the higher-ups were reticent to accede.

Thanks for cross posting this over here. I've only just fallen in love with Legendary, and this is an awesome opp for me to pimp it out. Have some GG.

Two boxes popped:

1.75 sets of Deadpool alts
Man thing set x2
2 Stan lee bystanders
2 bull dozer bystanders
Maybe 2 sets of the Spider-Man henchman

Double bombshell Sketches, very cool:
Deadpool - random acts of unkindness
Wolverine - frenzied slashing

I'm curious, in both boxes, the Chase card was in the same pack - right side 4th from bottom. 5% chance, so possible coincidence, but if anyone else tracks these things and can share their results, lmk

Back in the day when non-sports cards were just coming back into vogue after their apex in the late 70's early 80's, coincidentally also Marvel, the first "Marvel Universe" card series back in the early 1990's had a very precise pattern for the chase "hologram" cards. I forget exactly, but it was something like it was ALWAYS the back right pile, second from the top, or some such. Not a very good distribution technique.

Would be a shame if UD fell into the same trap.
