Subject: Games that look like an alien artifact rss

I'm looking for games that look like coming from a different planet or a lost ancient civilization.

Quite a few abstract boardgames could qualify so let's try anything except those.

Most interesting would be card games:
1. can not have any text nor numbers!
2. BUT weird art, iconography or symbols are encouraged

(Counter-)Examples:
1. RFTG: - No - great iconography, but has text
2. Shadi Torbeys games:
Onirim and Castellion - Yes
Urbion and Sylvion - Close - but has numbers

Hanafuda would also qualify.

The idea is not just card games without card text, but something that would look weird/alien/ancient.

Any suggestions?
Thank you!

One game that immediately came to mind is Tournay. The icon's are NOT all that recognizable and the art style is it's own thing, which I like.

The "no text or numbers" limit makes it tough. Otherwise I was starting to suggest Decktet Games...

Vye - if you're okay with an occassional card that has a one-word title on the bottom. Otherwise, fits your criteria.

AFAIK the cards in Ortus Regni are intentionally not only text-free but also icon/symbol-free:

If PnP is not a problem for you, you may take a look at:

Les Pierres d'Ica, a game of archeology set in Peru (old Inca culture). there are rules in English. Only a few cards have text in French (actually 1 word).
