I just finished with the Playbook tutorial and set up the Southern Campaign for my first game. I am going through the setup and calculating Support and Opposition to make sure I understand how it works.

I was able to back into the Opposition number, but for the life of me, I can only come up with 15 for Support, though the starting number is supposed to be 17.

What am I missing? Thanks in advance.

Quebec City: British Control, Active Support
NYC: British Control, Active Support
Philadelphia: British Control, Active Support
Savannah: British Control, Passive Support
New Hampshire: British Control, Active Support
NY: British Control, Active Support

Thank you so much! I was racking my brain over this. The good news was I was calculating it correctly. That bad news is that I had it marked incorrectly as Passive Opposition.

Thanks again.

Just wanted to pop in and thank you for this question. I was calculating 15 as well, but not because I had it marked as Passive Opposition, because I had the Passive Support chit in the Control box! lol. Calculated the board three times, then saw this thread, and relooked at Maryland-Delaware. Sure enough, same spot but different problem.
