Sorry if I just missed it, but since the Mat only has spaces for the Credit Marker to go up to $10, does that mean that a player may never have more than $10? So in principle, even if a player sold 2 Alien Technology goods in the Trade Phase, the most that player could ever potentially earn is $10, not $12?

If the intent is that a player is supposed to be able to go over $10, is there some standard way players use to show more than $10 (e.g., orientation of the Credit Marker, put a spare die on the $10 space, ...)?

Thank you.

A player may never have more than $10 at a time; any excess credits are lost.
Hope this helps.

$10 is the max limit, per the rules. You cannot exceed it at any time, even temporarily, so situations like trading two alien dice results in immediately lost money.
