I'm very interested in Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Detective to play solo, but have one doubt. I have a vision issue and I've seen more than one comment about difficult to read fonts. For most games I do need a magnifying glass to read text on cards, but I don't always need that. I know that one way or another, I could play the game, but I'm trying to get a sense of how difficult it would be as it has a lot of text. So, my questions...
-How difficult to read/small are the fonts? -Is most of the text in a better font or is most of it in the difficult font? -Could someone post a couple pictures of some of the poor/small fonts including a measuring stick so I can see the scale?
I know I could just buy the game and trade it if I found the font too difficult, but having to do that would be very frustrating. I'd rather avoid it.
A lot of the paragraphs that you are directed to read will be on the same page as other leads that could contain major spoilers. With the current font, you are less likely to make out words in a different lead if actively trying not to.
So yes, the font is a little hard to read.
Also, while the font used in the directory is easy to read, it is very tiny.
