I may be asking a really daft question here.

When you get a daughter and decide to offer her to marry some baron, do they have to be of the same age?

Can you marry your 15 year old princess to a 45 year old Baron? How would the combined ages work out?

No, they do not have to be the same age.

You simply flip the baron token to its married side, retaining the age. So in this case, the couple would be 45 years old.

Think of the "age of the couple" as being just the age of the male half of it.

A daughter doesn't have an "age". Women are ageless.
