We have entered The Kaiser's Pirates as a 2007 WBC trial event.
There are two single round qualifying sessions each on both Thursday and Friday. The 8 best players advance to the semi-finals and finals which will then be held on Saturday. Can you be as successful as the highest scoring ace of the war, Korvettenkapitän Graf Dohna-Schlodien of the Möwe with his 44-victims?

As an added bonus, each participant in the WBC trial event will receive a set of eight previously unreleased Action cards. These special cards add all new actions and unique British forces.

Optional Rules for the WBC Tournament
Just Tournament Balance (6.4) optional rule is in play for the qualifying sessions.
The semi-finals and finals will also employ rule 6.4 and will add optional rules Warship & Raider Retention (6.7) and Additional Damage (6.8) plus play of the new promo Action Cards. I don't plan to use the new promo cards in the qualifying sessions so that players have a chance to check them out before they are in play -- no surprises.

We had a great turnout with 33 players and nearly 60 games. The finals featured 4 players who played a very competitive game. Thanks to everyone who participated. See you there next year.
