Hi, we are new to trains so we decided to play a 2 player game on the normal 3-4 player side of the board, can someone please confirm how many of the following we should play wit:
a) cubes (we use trains from TTR) each player uses, not including the point marker.
b)how many stations should be in the supply.
c) how many cards should be available in each pile.
Also I take it that only the waste pile has the full amount of cards available whatever the player count is? so you never reduce that pile?
we really enjoyed our 1st play but just wanted to make sure we were playing correctly. this has replaced dominion for us.
thank you.

If you're playing on the regular sized map you use the full supply regardless of player count. So that'd be 10 copies of each of the cards in the display (except Waste of course which you use all of them), 20 rail cubes each, and the full allotment of stations.
