From Accuweather, the weather forecast for the 9 days of WBC plus travel days before and after (all temps Fahrenheit):
DAY DATE HIGH LOW NOTES
Friday 22-July 86 62 Decreasing cloudiness
Saturday 23-July 86 67 Mostly cloudy and humid
Sunday 24-July 83 56 A thunderstorm possible
Monday 25-July 76 59 Chance of a thunderstorm
Tuesday 26-July 83 59 Chance of a thunderstorm
Wednesday 27-July 79 53 Chance of a thunderstorm
Thursday 28-July 80 56 A thunderstorm possible
Friday 29-July 78 59 A little morning rain
Saturday 30-July 78 59 Considerable cloudiness
Sunday 31-July 75 59 Afternoon rain
Monday 1-August 76 58 Brilliant sunshine

I do not know the difference between "A thunderstorm possible" and "Chance of a thunderstorm". It does not look like much pool weather. Mother Nature appears to be planning a good cry when we leave. And after we are gone, the sun returns.

See you all soon! We will be arriving late Friday the 22nd.

Weather.com is similar. Both show lower temps and humidity than in Lancaster with the difference becoming more pronounced as the week goes on.

As to pooltime, Seven Springs has an indoor pool as well as outdoor.

For what it's worth, I've seen on the local news that Lancaster has been crushed with floodish rains.

Weather forecasts 2 weeks out are not very reliable.

Exactly.

I've found the weather up there this time of year to be really nice, even if it's a little wet at times.

"Chance of a thunderstorm" and "A thunderstorm possible" doesn't mean the whole day is lousy. It might actually be nice a good part of the day. It's just saying a thunderstorm might pop up, or maybe not at all. And without giving the 20 minute meteorology lesson, late afternoon/ early evening is when they tend to pop up. If at all.

Actually that looks like a typical summer weather forecast for Lancaster, less 5 or so degrees.

At higher elevations like ski mtns, the weather can be more unpredictable. Might be sunny , then thunderstorm for 20 minutes, then be sunny and dry 20 minutes later. The drop in humidity vs Lancaster will be welcome, not to mention the absence of the cow dung smell.

As long as it doesn't rain inside this year, I'm happy.

"Weather forecasts 2 weeks out are not very reliable."

True. That would be why they aren't putting percentages on the rain possibilities. Generally it sounds like it will be pretty nice.

If there is a cow dung smell, it'll actually come from cows.

That sounds like a pretty nice forecast. Over any 9 day period in the northeast this time of year you are almost guaranteed to get rain a day or two.

The google weather widget above the search results is pretty slick: lets you see the predicted hourly temp and precip for the whole week, now.

Good thing we play indoors.
