I'm working to get towards a prototype for an election game. It uses area control and hand management. If anyone knows of election games with similar mechanisms, I'd love to do some research on them.

For example:
The Walled City: Londonderry & Borderlands

Thanks

Briefly, but was hoping for games that were not just 2 players.

Mechanically, I think they're quite different, but you could check out Tammany Hall.

I also have Who Can Beat Nixon?, which is basically Monopoly with a 1970s political theme.

Also, wicked cool cover art:

I have Tammany Hall. This game is slightly inspired by that. I'll check out the other one.

Divided Republic is a multiplayer (2-4) game with the mechanics you're interested.

I would have to suggest Liberté. It has area control, hand management, is about a series of elections (French revolutionary), and plays 3-6 players.
