Hi, the expansion is shuffled with the base game, is there any way to separate the expansion from the base game?

If you have a 1st edition printing, then you'll need to use a card list, since the symbols that Kilo Force refers to don't exist yet. I'm sure there's one in the files. Note that all ETA locations are specials, so it generally doesn't complicate things very much to just leave them in.

I'd say go ahead and add all the special locations and races from ETA right away; but don't add anything else like Alliance Inspections or the new conflict (I never play with conflict anyway, but if you do want to, I would play a few games with the base set conflicts cards first).
