I have heard good things about 1834 and would be interested to try it. I see a few threads about availability over the last 6 years... Does anyone know if there are any recent updates?

I know Tom was testing it at this year's Portland convention.

Any info on PnP, or being published only?

I would assume it would be published by DTG, perhaps along with one of the two satellite publishers.

Friends,

I'd love to know more. Any word?

I'd like to actually be able to purchase the game and have it arrive reasonably quickly, so I'm hoping for the satellite publishers that can get it to my door.

Cheers,
Bob

Just what's above: A DTG prototype was played several times at Dave Blanchard's 18xx convention in Portland a few months ago and additional changes were discussed. I expect an updated prototype will be played at Mark Derrick's CRGC early next year just down the road from you.

It was not present at this year's convention in Portland.
