So single ship. Not single ship team, but just favorite individual ship build.

For me, so far, its easy.

Deliverance (Ocean's Edge Version) (16)
Captain (3)
Helmsman (2)
Shipwright (2)
Musketeer (3)
26pts

For me, this build is a blast. The ability of +1 against Cursed is...eh..but otherwise, my flagship in almost every game I play.

5 cannons, 3 L, 2 S, all 3's. s+L+s every turn is insane too. I like to use it as a defensive powerhouse. I have 14 points left over which I normally like to put into a "Neptune's Hoard (Revolution)+ explorer" for 13 points. I run them alongside one another and Deliverance escorts the Neptune from island to island. That pair is my go to team. Deliverance is now fast enough to leave the Neptune, shoot, and be back to protect the Neptune before it even noticed she was gone.

I've had great luck with the build, and will continue to run it as a staple pair for many more games, I'm sure.

How about you? Whats your favorite build?

If I had to pick just one single-ship setup, it would be this:

Acorazado (21 points)

Luis Zuan (7, captain + world hater)
Nemesio Diaz (5, canceller)
Joaquin Vega (4, ignore first hit w/ all masts)
Admiral Alarico Castro (3, SAT)
Duque Marcus Vaccaro (0LR reroller)
Helmsman (2)

I love this forum topic; I'd recommend posting it at Miniature Trading.

That build seems CRAZY!

but isn't it 42 points? And I can only find info on the 14pt Acorazado.

Either way, seems like a BEAST. And yeah, it is a pretty fun topic. I will go post it there! Thanks!

It's 42 points, but I didn't see you specify that the setup had to fit into a standard game point limit. arrrh Speaking of which, there's a 76 point Delusion combo that I like as well. surprise

The Acorazado from Spanish Main is far superior to the OE version. Miniature Trading is the most active Pirates CSG forum, so I think you'll get a lot more feedback over there.

ooohh... Delusion can run some truly SICK combos. It's a 35 point hull, so you can stuff 35 points of crew on it.... PIRATE crew... Davy Jones, Fitz, and Calico Cat on one ship? OUCH! But even with those you still have a dozen or so point to go.

If you try hard enough you can stuff more than 35 points of crew on the Delusion, which is where the 76 point number came from.

Delusion + Davy Jones, Captain Nemo, Ibrahan Ozat, Christian Fiore, Sir Edmund captain, helmsman, shipwright
Revisited in my review of Davy Jones
