Hello!

Just a little question regarding Crossroads cards:

When a player gets to choose between option 1 and option 2, do your group discuss the options openly or do you let the player choose an option all by him/herself without influence from other players?

PS. I have never played this game.

I don't think we could help ourselves but to discuss.

We tend to discuss. Hadn't even thought about the idea of not allowing discussion, but thematically it makes sense in most instances. I may have to try a house rule where no one is allowed to have input (unless it's a voting card of course).

Pretty much everything in the game is open for discussion. The main exception is that you can't reveal what your secret objectives are.

In our group we only discuss if it is in fact the group voting. When playing with people who haven't yet played we might jump in to help them see possible consequences. It doesn't really differ that much, but the group is then forced to bear the consequences of one person's actions, whether they like it or not. Feels right to play it that way too.

We discuss it. It helps us get a sense of treachery or loyalty.
