Well Auroch Digital is starting a digital conversion of Ogre. I hope one day we will see Car Wars.

Back in the days when there were less maps we played every map back to back

Ooh a little higher, now a bit to the left, a little more, a little more, just a bit more. Oooh yes, that's the spot!

Ogre from 1986 was really good and people have got it working via DosBox

Hi folks,

I'm the Community Manager for Auroch Digital. We're the team working with Steve Jackson Games to bring Ogre to a digital audience

We're really excited to be a part of the project and to be collaborating with SJG. If anyone has any questions regarding the development, please don't hesitate to get in touch!

With regards to iOS, only PC has been announced so far, Brandysta. Can't say at the moment whether this will change, but good to know there is some demand for the game to come to iOS. Thanks for the feedback.

When you say "only PC" what does that mean, exactly? Only Windows?

I would buy Mac and iOS versions.

If you guys implement G.E.V. rules, will there be a way to customize units? I suppose this question applies to Ogre also.

Hopefully at least Windows or Windows Steam Whoo Hoo.

I wouldn't mind something on Google Play.

I want to take out my phone, open the app, resume my game with the MK3 (I don't have a MK5 because I just downloaded the "Free Trial") and blast away without ever seeing a 1970s style odds chart.
Tap the Ogre, tap the weapon to fire, tap the Missile Tank target and watch the little explosion.
-sigh-
Oh that would be wonderful.
