It doesn't appear to be an expansion and it has over 500 ratings. What gives?

It's listed as a compilation with the two-player board. Compilations don't get ranked.

Okay, that's a legit explanation. Thanks!

However, should this be the case? For example, I can understand why a collection like Treasure Chest isn't ranked, since it's not only a collection but a collection of expansions. But given that this is a standalone game that just happens to include a two-player game, shouldn't it be included among all ranked games?

Yes, that's also my point of view. Moongha is a multiplayer-game with a 2-player version (as many others). It's not a collection.

I submitted a correction. We'll see how that goes.

Thanks, Byron! By the way, how did you know that this game was a "collection" and not a normal game? I looked all over the game's page and didn't see anything. When I clicked on "Edit" to submit a correction, I see that it "Contains" the two-player version. Is that all it is?

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but it became ranked in the past week. I noticed when I put together my BGG Climbers geeklist for this week.
