Why for this life there's no man smart enough, life's too short for learning every trick and bluff.

I suspect I received version 1, but does anyone have a complete list of the differences between version 1 and version 2? I'd like to know partly to confirm which version I have, and partly to see which version has the better rule and card set, so I can merge the two.

I suspect, based on the poor quality of the components, that I have version 1.

I'm kind of horrified that they removed auctions from the "long rules", but kind of pleased that the "short rules" explicitly allow you to play any way you like, which of course is going to mean auctions are back in if this ever gets played.

I'm also concerned by the jail > black knight rules. Easier to get free, but very punishing each turn you don't, and there's no "just visiting" rule.
