I'm seeking playtesters for a new design called "Battle for Alur".
"Battle for Alur" combines basic wargaming concepts (hex-based mapboard, ZOCs) with a rock-paper-scissors mechanic, all wrapped-up in a chess-like setting. In fact, early playtests have shown that many of the tactical considerations and thought processes of players are similar to those of chess, so I expect fans of chess and similar games to enjoy this as well.
The game is very simple to learn but hard to master. Having no particular theme, one could classify it as an abstract game. It is played by 2 players.
For those interested in playtesting, I can provide a digital version of the game, but creating a physical version at home is quite easy as well.
Feedback for the game itself, as well as on similar games that you may have encountered will be very much appreciated.
Thank you very much in advance for your help.
Hello Giorgos, I like the abstract, if you want can try and see yours this.
I understand that I need to speak English, because that would be a inconvenience for me.
