Well, the title says it all ^^

Is it just a reprint, are there some erratas added, is the quality the same... ?

Thanks !

I jotted it down in my Risk campaign book. I always used to do that so I could replay my moments of glory over a glass of brandy in the sleeping quarters. --Arnold J. Rimmer--

I didn't know there were two editions.

I only own and have seen the 1st edition. I am not sure there was ever a 2nd edition actually made.

According to BGG there are two editions; one from 1983 and one from 1991.

Avalon Hill/Victory Games used to constantly keep most of their games in print, and with each new printing, they would usually include the most updated rulebook (which usually just had a list of errata and FAQ, but sometimes had the corrections/clarification incorporated into the rules). So, it's quite possible that the 1991 printing had an updated rulebook.

You're probably right, it has to be a rules thing ^^ I couldn't find any real info, but at the very least, there are some nice files here on BGG to help out whatever the version I might get my hands upon.

Thanks !

I believe the only difference is a rules update. I use this entry on the files page. It contains an updated rules set which includes not only the 2nd ed updates but many clarifications obtained directly from Victory Games by

That's right. 2nd ed contains the updated rules and paragraph booklet. Other components are the same. If you have Lutz's errata compilation you can play the same with any of both editions.

Enjoy this great game!

I have both editions. The only difference I noticed was the copyright year. I do not think much of the errata known to me is included even in the 1991 edition. But then I never had the two boxes side-by-side in front of me, or even in the same city (old one is still in my parent's house 250 km from here; no use having two copies at home).
