Hello,

Is there an official list of what are considered 'negative events' from which the sacristy would protect a player from?

My question came about when playing a solo scenario, and noticed that there are new negative events (e.g. Goods tax, Banishment, etc.)

I am wondering if the sacristy would protect against those, since the sacristy effects are only explained in the original rulebook.

Thanks!

The rulebook tells: The Sacristy can protect you from negative events (like Harvest, Taxes or Plague) if it is activated.
In the standard game these are the only 3 negative events.
So yes if there are other negative events in expansions, why not protecting from those as well?

If you're playing the Dignitary solo game, you are supposed to remove Sacristy from the building tiles. Bottom of page 16 of rule book: "Remove all Place (building) tiles that produce goods or require them from the game. Also remove the Depot, Horse Wagon, Sacristy, Vineyard and Tavern."

With the Veirzon game, it's not specifically excluded. But the place/building tiles are randomly selected so it's all in the luck of the draw.

On the Salesman game, the place/building tiles are specifically identified which to use. Sacristy is not one of the specified tiles. All building tiles not listed are returned to box.
