Subject: AT Guns (or other) in Melee rss

OK, tried hard but can't find it in the rules even with a PDF search of them.

What is the value of an AT Gun or any other gun for that matter, in Melee?

My guess is:
30/Melee Combat.
9. Each side adds up the Defense numbers of all units in the Melee to arrive at their total Defense.
10. Each side adds up all HE attack FP of all units in the Melee to arrive at their total FP.


By looking at Rules/6/Crewed Weapons the 57 ATG has an HE attack of 3 and a Defense of 4.

Xavier is correct. Use HE attack FP of 3 and the units Defense number of 4.



Another example with HMG, FP of 3 and a Defense of 3.

Yes of course, that makes perfect sense. Totally missed the obvious. Do any Melee modifiers exist for Guns that I may have missed (feel dumb asking that now but...)?

No modifiers in the Melee combat, but crewed weapons cannot Assault move so they will only be in a Melee when enemy moves into their hex.
