Interesting, in that I just checked my contributions to the forums today. My total contribution? 21 new, original posts and 258 replies to forum posts here at BGG for a total of 279 posts.

I have been a member of BGG for 13 years. Since 2003.

So that's roughly 21 forum posts per year or 1.75 forum posts per month.

--------

How long have you been a BGG member and how many total forum posts have you made? Whats your ratio of forum posts per year, per month?

I saw someone here who was a member since 2010 and had some 6,500 forum posts. Wow.

That's 1,300 posts per year at a whopping 108 posts per month.

Does anyone have a lower ratio than me and with how many years in? Does anyone have a higher ratio?

Wow. 3 forum replies total in 3 years. And how cool is it that one of those three posts is right here!

I think someone should nominate you for Geek of the Week!

I think I have just over one post per day. If you could double check and do the math that would be awesome.

Well, I might have unrealistic numbers here.

I've been here since 2001, but my first forum contribution was Aug 26, 2004....So I'll go with that date.

I have 1527 original threads, and 34140 replies.

So that comes out to about 247 posts a month, or about 8 a day, 2964 posts a year...for the last 12 straight years.

I've been a member for 7 years.
So that's about 260 posts a year, 21.69 posts a month, or 0.71 posts a day.

a few per day. If there is a hot topic, perhaps many in quick succession.

Isn't this essentially what the BGG awarded Poster Level microbadge measures?

I registered near the end of 2014 so that I could start keeping an inventory of my games. Then discovered that it really is better than Facebook.

So I'm at about 300 posts (just over mb) after almost exactly 20 months. About 15 per month, roughly one every couple of days.

About 1500 in 9 years.

I think that is about 4 posts per day.

That doesn't count my geek list stuff which would add another 1000.

Hmmm I am on BGG a lot.

It depends on the day with more contributions on the weekend I think. I have only been on bgg since last year but I may average two a day.

except the signal to noise ratio is extremely high, like an NPR broadcast, so readers are getting nothing but prime cut.

I don't think my profile gives an overall number. It breaks it out by a ton of different subcategories (board game threads & replies, board game designer threads & replies, board game artist threads & replies, etc.), but just looking at the main category (Site Forums) I have 182 threads and 10,110 replies. I joined in 2010, but the oldest post I see is from February 2012. So that's about 187 posts a month? Or about 6 a day? I think my early sporadic posting is bringing that average down.

I'm a mb.
