Furthermore, a theme, like farming for example, isn't as exciting to me as Star Wars, but if the mechanisms of said farming game are good, I consider it a good game. While a game with mediocre mechanisms about Star Wars might get played a lot, I'd still consider it a mediocre game.

Which game will hit the table more? Probably the one about Star Wars.
