Like some people, I am waiting for the re-release of the game (I'm in the P500) but couldn't wait any longer and I had plenty of free time last week... so I made my own set of Sekigahara!
It is not perfect, but good enough to enjoy the game until I get the official copy!

It is almost ready for play, but I still have some work to put on the blocks to make them a little bit nicer (paper front can sometime be a little bigger than the face of the block so I have to trim it a little).
I will put plenty of gloss varnish to add a "laquer" look on the block.
The turn marker ended up round as it was easier to just use the same wood for the 2 round marker than find something fitting.
The block are made of 1/2" square wooden stud sold in 4 feet lenght.
Everything was sawed and sanded by hand since I did not have access to a proper tool for that. The sanding job could have been nicer, but will do the job.
I had access to a plotter (42" wide printer) to help me print the maps and cards.

Overall I paid around 10$CAN in materials, and spent at least 20hours on it.

Very nice. How did you print the cards and the map?

With a plotter, a large printer that prints on roll of paper 36" wide.
I could have printed the cards on 8.5x11 or 11x17, but the file was one single big jpeg and was easier to just print it on the plotter as well.

Yeah, and I pirated my Honda CB500 after fabricating all the parts for it and then putting it together.

Hi,

I did the exact same thing a few months ago, though I used Mahjong tiles instead of wood for the blocks.

I have a question though. I actually remade the map myself as well as the cards...but you seem to have the original artwork...how did you manage to get it?
