Since it's taking a while for the files to be uploaded, I'll post direct links here to the dropbox files.

Could you upload the boards / star maps in jpg or png format? I'm thinking of getting these professionally printed. Thanks.

I'll see if I can sort something out, but I can't look at it until tomorrow.

Watch this space!

Will you be doing a video play through of this Nicky Dude?

I'd be keen to see this in action =).

It would be awesome if you could! I tried to create a playthrough video myself a but I really haven't got the gear for it. I even had my iphone taped to a lampstand at one point, but it was a painfully slow process and I gave up on it in the end.
I did manage to write up a full session report (with photos) in the WIP thread. I've just copy and pasted it and posted it here, but it's pending review.

It should pop up sometime in the next 24 hours

I'm hoping to get the main board printed through GameCrafter so I need the image to be 5475 x 5475 if possible (or as close as).

It will be an 18 x 18 inch quad-fold board.

That could be problematic. It's been formatted and laid out to suit a standard A2 sheet, similar to the pandemic game board.

The image is 594mm x 420mm (roughly 23.5" x 16.5")
18"x18" works out at 457mm square.

If you resize it to suit the dimensions you're requesting, it will distort the card slots, so the system cards won't look right.

Edit: I posted the jpeg to the files section but I have a feeling it will be rejected due to being too similar to existing files.

In case this happens, here's a direct download link:-

I've never been completely happy with the way that the game components were available on the files section of this page so I've just submitted them in a new format for the BGG admins to approve.

Now you will just need to download two zip files to get hold of all game components instead of several million whistle

They should be available in a few hours. Once they are I will delete the older links.

Hi Chris,

What is the suggested way of printing the A2-sized board?

Cheers,
Dave

Sorry Dave, I moved house at the weekend and have only just been reconnected to the internet!

I'm about to dash out for the evening, but I'll reply more fully tomorrow

Edit: Dave, I've just had a quick look at the new PnP files and I included a version of the board that can be printed onto 4 separate A4 sheets. There should be enough overlap on the borders for you to align them.
If all else fails I think I might still have a spare board lying around, but it will be deeply buried in all the packed away things following the house move. Let me know how you get on and if you're struggling I'll see if I can dig it out

Hi Chris. Four A4 sheets is doable. I'm doing a reasonable amount of PnP at the moment. Looking forward to finally trying the game.

Good luck with the unpacking!
