Here is a quick solitaire variant I am testing out. It's a beat-your-score variant with a timer. The length of the timer might need to be tweaked.

Setup:

Shuffle the cards by type. Then, without looking at them, take 2 Procreate cards and 4 of every other type of card and return them to the box. They won't be used this game.

Next, build your starting hand as normal, then build smaller Task decks as follows: 3 Procreate, 4 Innovate, 5 Hunt, and 6 Gather. Do NOT build a Forage deck.

Take all remaining cards and shuffle them together to form a Timer deck.

Gameplay:

Except as indicated here, gameplay proceeds normally.

After each of your turns, reveal the top card of the Timer deck and place it face-up beside the deck. If there is already a revealed card matching that Task, cover it with the newly revealed card so that there are at most 4 visible cards beside the Timer deck at any time, one from each Task.

The game ends when the last card from the Timer deck has been revealed or any two Tasks (other than Forage) have been depleted.

During your turn, the color of the facedown card on top of the Timer deck (the card that will be revealed next) indicates which Task is occupied this round. You may not place any workers on the matching-colored Task.

When you take the Forage task, instead of searching the Forage deck, you can take into hand the top revealed Gather, Hunt or Innovate card from beside the Timer deck. You may not take Procreate cards this way.

At the end of the game, you MUST swap your Founder card with one revealed Procreate card from the Timer deck. Add this card, Culture-side up, to your village, slightly apart from the rest of your Village. Points from this card count double for end-game scoring. This replaces the points rewarded for most icons.

If you try this variant, leave a comment with your score and we will start a high-scores list! Also, please comment if the Timer deck feels too long/short.

I would recommend cleaning up wording.
Examples:
You will not make a Forage deck, but you can still use the Forage action (see below)

Define Face-Up and Face-down clearer.

Maybe take/add photos since this against the normal play nature of the game.

-Good ideas otherwise
