*dollar bill for scale.

A friend I game with turned me on to these containers from KFC. These reusable containers come with select side items such as beans and mac & cheese. They're absolutely perfect for storing game components such as coins and tokens.

I went to KFC for lunch expecting to get 1 or 2 with my meal, but I came home with 80 of them!

Pros of KFC sealable containers:

-They're compact. They should fit in just about every game box without an insert.
-Just the right size for most game components. Can be kept on the table next to the game board.
-They stack even with the lids on.
-They're low-profile with a wide base so they're unlikely to tip over.
-They're free.

Cons:

Sometimes there's leftover gravy on them in hard-to-get areas.

Nope. I asked for them at the counter and they brought back a whole stack.

There is an Asian grocery in my street and they sell bags of dozens (maybe 100) small plastic containers, the king you would use to dip a nem into soja sauce.

I only use zip-bags to store components but I have seen someone using small plastic containers to hold the pieces during the game.

I use those KFC containers for Imperial Assault. Keeps the chits contained, not too deep so easy to grab one out, doesn't tip, seals up easily.

Fascinating. KFC doesn't even know they are in the game business now.

Can confirm. I was able to negotiate my way into getting seven of them after only ordering a small bag of potato wedges, and I'm quite pleased. Perfect size and durability, the only thing is that opening and closing the containers is loud and slightly cumbersome.
