Proposed to replace the word "Movement" in the text added to the Assault ability, with

"Restoration"

so that the text reads

"In your Restoration phase you may flip an Assault squadron of yours that is not already flipped. Make sure that at the start of the game your Assault squadrons are placed with the Assault symbol showing.
You may flip more than one of your Assault squadrons per turn."


I'm not overall certain this rule is good, so am not incorporating it into the revised rules.

This change is intended to allow moving an assault squadron into contact with an opponent's squadrons and then flipping it after the fight. The change in timing is intended to prevent them creating a gate to an opponent's occupied square without having to fight (and subsequent AM missile shenanigans etc).

It is also intended to control the added complexity of player analysis by ensuring that for an assault-gate to be available to move through, it must have been created a turn earlier. Potentially this just transfers the burden onto the acting player, seeing as they will need to judge whether any opponent could benefit from the gate before they do. But I think that is less than the burden on the other three players to take into account possible assault-gates that don't exist yet!
